Why Cyprus
Why should you come to Cyprus?
It’s Hot, Hot, Hot – our little island in the Med averages over 300 sunny days per year. With plenty of beautiful beaches and the ideal climate for outdoor living, a Solar Fitness Qualifications course is not all work that’s for sure. Cyprus is known as Aphrodite’s Island – the Goddess of Love – and apparantly it’s where the Gods go on holiday. If it’s good enough for them then who are we to argue?! We’ve been here for nearly 8 years so, from that information alone, you can see that Cyprus is a good place to be…
Paphos, is situated in the south west of the island everyone speaks English so communication is never a problem. There is loads of outdoor stuff to do and plenty of terrific beaches. Getting around is easy and we even drive on the left hand side of the road (most of the time!). Cypus is in the EU so it’s like the UK, only warmer! Food is very cheap – locally grown fruit and veg is excellent quality. Paphos is cosmopolitan and offers a superb range of excellent restaurants and chic bars.
Cyprus still offers excellent value for money and visitors will be pleased to find their money goes a lot further than when at home – especially compared the UK. The currency of Cyprus is the Euro – and the Euro goes a long way in Cyprus especially is you “go native” and choose the excellent local produce in the supermarkets.
Many of our previous students have mentioned how they benefited from having other classmates around when it came to evening revision and course work – your fellow students can provide an excellent support network that is not usually available at other venues and locations. It is not uncommon to see groups of students at the local tavern or coffee shop doing revision. Our students often become well known to the local bars, restaurants and coffee shops, the owner will often offer discounts for regular customers. Also, unlike non-residential courses, students have much greater access to course trainers including evenings and weekends as necessary.
Finally, many previous students have made “friends for life” whilst on a course and have even gone on to set up joint business ventures. In summary – It’s not so much a question of “Why choose Cyprus?” rather than “Why choose anywhere else!”. For further information on the island of Cyprus go to www.cyprustourism.org
