- Certificate in Gym Instruction - CGI (duration 2 weeks 2 days)
- Certificate in Personal Training including Nutrition - CPT (duration 5 weeks 3 days)
- Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy - SMT (duration 4 weeks)
- Diploma in Personal Training - CGI & CPT excluding SMT (duration 8 weeks)
- Diploma in Personal Training - CGI & CPT including SMT (duration 12 weeks)
- Certificate in Gym Instruction (Distance Learning)
- Certificate in Personal Training (Distance Learning)
N.B. Students who already hold a REPs level 2 qualification are not required to attend the first module (CGI). However, if students do not attend the CGI module they will not receive the S.F.Q. Diploma in Personal Training certificate
The Certificate in Gym Instruction - CGI is the first step in launching a new career in the health and fitness industry and is the minimum accepted standard for working in the gym as an instructor. Approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs), this qualification provides you with the foundation for a move into this exciting and rewarding industry.
The Certificate in Personal Training - CPT is REPs Level 3 accredited and will allow you to work with clientele both inside and outside the confines of the gym environment. By learning the principles of individual programme design as well as lifestyle analysis and fitness testing, you can train a wide variety of clients anywhere including the home, local parks, sports pitches or the gym.
Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy - SMT is a logical addition to the Certificate in Gym Instruction or The Certificate in Personal Training. Sports Massage Therapy uses numerous hands-on techniques to alleviate a variety of aches and pains from sport and recreational exercise or simply from the stresses of modern life e.g. non-specific back pain caused by a sedentary lifestyle. The course includes all the essential SMT skills such as client assessment, massage treatment and post treatment advice and offers a combination of skills designed to provide the health and fitness professional with a more extensive portfolio.
Distance Learning
We are now offering you the convinience of doing our courses at your own pace and in your own home!
On payment, you will receive a log on code which will grant you access to all of the course modules online so you can work at your own pace. On completion of the theory - during which you will receive online and telephone support from your allocated course trainer - you will then come to Cyprus for 1 week of practical tuition and assessment. You can start a distance learning course at any time and take as long as you want to complete it! Please contact us for more details about distance learning. .

Flights
Flights arrive the Saturday before your course starts and depart the Saturday after your course finishes.
We have arranged a year round price for S.F.Q. students of £300.00 including VAT and transfers for your outward and return journeys. If you wish to arrange your own flights (e.g. from your local airport) please be aware you will have to also arrange your own transfers to your accommodation. Directions will be provided as necessary and one of our agents will meet you at your accommodation on your arrival.
Deposit
£500 secures your place on an SFQ course, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the the course start date. We are now able to offer flexible payment plans so if you have specific requirements call us and we will do our best to help.
Insurance
During your lesson times (theory & practical) you will be covered by our comprehensive company insurance policy. It is essential however that all students have private travel insurance for the duration of their stay in Cyprus. Please ensure your insurance covers you for any of the activities you are likely to undertake during your stay e.g. mountain biking, scuba diving etc.
